If you want to use templates with Apple Notes do following steps:
- Install alto.computer macOS app.
- Follow alto.computer setup guide for initial use.
- In any folder which for which you want to create notes from the template create one note called "template".
- Put any content you want inside this note.
- Click "New Note" button and it will be automatically create and populate from the template.
There are few predefined templates that you can copy from the documentation.
Buttons
Left most button is "New Note" button that allows you to create new note from template.
What is coming
Template variable are going to be supported soon. This will be {date} and {location}.
Limitations
Currently checklist, monospaced text and images are not supported with templates.
But please use any text with formatting + tables.
